Common questions
What is on a city page, and why does my city have one?
Lending rules are written at the state level, while pricing is decided borrower by borrower. A city page shows both: the sourced rules for your state and the Census context for your area.
Can my rate change because of the city I live in?
Rarely, if ever. A lender licensed in a state applies one pricing model across it. Your rate turns on your credit profile, your income and your debt-to-income ratio — the city does not enter into it.
